Salute to Veterans, Schedule Update

We are sending out a salute to Veterans - we thank you for your service.
Hats off on this Veterans' & Remembrance Day.
There will be an observance of Veterans Day at the VFW Post #3836 here in Talkeetna on Thursday November 11th at 11am. A potluck of soup, sandwiches, salads and desserts will follow. All are invited to attend to honor our veterans. For information you may contact Nancy Trump at 733-1574.
The AMS office will be open on Thursday and Friday this week.

Winter is here!

We have 6-8 inches of snow on the ground and more is falling daily. The "r" word has been in the forecast, we're lucky that it's all turned to snow so far. The dogs are loving it and it brings out the child in the rest of us! Time to wax the skis!
