Mark Postle

Postle called in from 14K tonight, they're chillin in the wind. He said it's nuking up at 17 right now. A couple of other groups moved up yesterday and are probably wishing they hadn't right about now. He said that when they do get to move up they'll be able to do so nice and light. "Nice and light" is a relative term though. Even though Pat and Melis cached some stuff up there for him they still will be moving quite heavy, by most people's standards.

They still have plenty of days. They have at least a week to go at this point, and food and fuel for more. Everyone is doing really good. 14K is a great place to get stuck for extra days. It is a good place to acclimatize though. Everyone is just getting stronger everyday. Same with the 11K camp folks. It is not a bad place to be hanging out. They too are getting strong waiting out this funky weather. They're all sitting tight for another couple of days. Well, Postle is sitting tight with high winds above. Leighan does not get cell reception where she is. I'm not sure how the winds are down at that elevation.

Greg and Suzy just flew out of the Range. Here are some cool photos from their Hunter trip.
