Guide Ben Gilmore and long time climber Mark flew off to begin a climb of Mt. Russell today. They had a one day weather delay, but they know all about how the weather game works. This morning, they were happy to head to the airport and catch their flight to the Yentna Glacier. Mt. Russell is 11,670 ft and is located in the cusp of the Central Alaska Range. It is a beautiful, classic mountain to climb, they are in for a once in a lifetime treat.
