AMS Guide Melis Coady and her team remain at basecamp awaiting their flight to Talkeetna. They have company out there - Laura from our office is waiting to fly out as well, she went in for 1 day to help the Lisa, the basecamp manager, that was 2 days ago. There are other groups waiting for good weather as well. Melis and her team are so patient, they had weather delays on the way in as well. They all deserve a big cake when they return!
The Advanced Mountaineering Course is also waiting to fly out from the Pika Glacier.
I am expecting a call from Rob Gowler this evening to update us on the AMS teams high on the mountain - stay tuned!
